MC9S12NE64是一款112/80管脚的高性价比、低端的连接应用MCU系列。MC9S12NE64由标准的内置外设构成，包括一个16位的中央处理器单元（HCS12 CPU)、64K字节的FLASH EEPROM、8K字节的随机存储器（RAM）、集成了10/100Mbps以太网物理层收发器（EPHY）的以太网媒体访问控制器（EMAC）、两个异步串行通讯接口模块（SCI）、一个串行外设接口（SPI）、一个IC互连总线（IIC）、一个4通道16位定时器模块（TIM）、一个8通道10位模数转换器（ATD）、多达21个管脚可用于键盘唤醒输入（KWU），还有两个额外的外部异步中断。内置的PLL电路允许对功耗和性能进行调节来满足运行要求。此外，内置的带隙基准稳压器（VREG_PHY）将3.15V到3.45V的外部工作电压转换成2.5V的内部数字电源电压（VDD）。MC9S12NE64完全采用16位的数据通路。112脚封装版本共有70个I/O端引脚和10个单输入引脚。80脚封装版本共有38个I/O端引脚和10个单输入引脚。
