Abstract:
MC9S08QG4/QG8 is the newest 8-bit MCU member of Freescale™'s S08 families. It combines the advantages of the popular HC908Q family with the outstanding low-power capabilities of the HCS08 core. It is a low pin count, low power, but does not necessarily means "low end". Instead, it is a highly integrated, rich featured, suitable for a variety of applications. The MC9S08QG family is an excellent solution for industrial, power and size-sensitive applications, such as for battery chargers, electronic power meters, handheld devices, lighting control, PC peripherals, wireless devices, security and alarm systems.
