Abstract:
This webcast will focus on Freescale's latest addition of power management devices, the MCZ34670 Power over Ethernet powered device offering from Freescale.
The MCZ34670 combines a Power Interface Port for IEEE® 802.3af Powered Devices (PD) and a high performance current mode switching regulator. A detailed design overview of the MCZ34670 will be given, particularly on how it satisfies the power interface requirement of the IEEE 802.3af standard and how it is applicable to your design needs.
We will also cover the basic requirement of the IEEE 802.3af Power Over Ethernet specification and provide insights to the requirements of the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), and the Powered Device (PD).
